Our Comic Cons are for everyone. Bournemouth Comic Con
Held at Bournemouth International Centre - This will be a great day for families, sci-fi collectors, fans, and every other kind of Comic Con Fan! There is lots to see and do, including out of this world displays and props, traders selling out of this world collections, meet celebrities from Tv and the movies! For those that like cosplay, there will be a wide array of cosplayers on arrival, fans attending are invited to dress up as your favourite tv, Film or other fictional character and be ready to compete in our cosplay competitions!
BRISTOL CON
BristolCon is an annual science fiction and fantasy event organized by the BristolCon Committee. The main aim of this event is to support and promote Science Fiction and Fantasy in the South West United Kingdom. This includes authors, artists and businesses. The Bristol Fantasy & SF Society created the convention in 2009. It has become a popular, fun and friendly addition to UK conventions. Each year, we host panel discussions, lectures, art shows, workshops, kaffeeklatsch, and other small group sessions. In the dealer's room, you can find books, comics, and merchandise. Authors will also be signing their books. The BristolCon Foundation will use the funds raised from this event to award grants to members of the community who request financial support or assistance. YALC - Young Adult Lit Con
The first YALC took place at London Film & Comic Con in 2014 as Malorie Blackman’s major project as Waterstones Children’s Laureate 2013-2015. YALC has fast become a popular event bringing together fantastic authors, publishers and readers for two packed days of YA events, writing workshops, book signings, book-themed activities and more!
